The latest All-In-One printer from Brother comes in the form of the MFC-845CW, a multi-function printer with fax, colour printing, scanning and photocopying capabilities. It has decent output speed at up to 27 pages per minute black ink printing or 22 pages per minute colour printing.

Photo printing is easy with the MFC-845CW. It is photography friendly with a 2.5 inch LCD photo viewer screen and PictBridge connection which enables straight from your camera printing (with PictBridge enabled cameras) and also digital camera memory card slots so no need for a PC to be involved. It also includes a telephone answering machine and a DECT wireless phone comes with the printer.

The printers wireless capabilities are a very nice feature, helping to reduce around the desk tangles and being very useful for office networking, but of course it still works wired too.

A4 paper is the largest format which is fine for most home and office uses. The printer holds up to 100 sheets of paper and has a print resolution of up to 6000 x 1200dpi. It runs on four LC-1000 ink cartridges, black, cyan, magenta and yellow which will print up to 400 monochrome pages at 5% coverage for the coloured cartridges and up to 500 for the black.

Available for Windows and Mac operating systems, the MFC-845CW is a great all rounder for home office and office use.
