Using our site

Our site is organised to let you to find the cartridges you need easily and then purchase them simply, swiftly and securely.

Finding the cartridges you need

There are two ways to find the ink cartridges you need. The first method is the search box in the menu bar at the top right of the site. Just enter either the product code or cartridge name (eg 'C9425A' or 'HP 85') or else the name of the printer that the cartridges are for (eg 'DeskJet 5940' or 'stylus dx3800'). If any results are found for the search terms, they will be displayed as a list of cartridges, if any cartridges match the terms entered, or a list of printers if any printers match. You can click on the printer name to view all available cartridges for the printer.

The other way to find your cartridges is by using the menus on the left hand side of the site. These are split into boxes depending on the product type (eg 'Ink Cartridges' or 'Toner Cartridges') then in each box there is a list of printer brands. Just click on the brand you need and you will se a list of all the printers available for this brand which are organised by printer family (eg 'Epson Stylus Colour', 'Epson Stylus Photo'). Scroll down the page to find your printer then just click on the printer name to view all the ink cartridges we have available for the printer.

The cartridges in this list are organised by whether they are original, compatible or remanufactured cartridges. Most printers have a choice of originals and then either compatible or remanufactured cartridges. To see more information about a cartridge, click the 'more info' button underneath the cartridge name and you will see the product information page for that item which iincludes extra information about the cartridge, a larger product image and a list of printers with which the cartridge is compatible.

Adding your cartridges to the basket

To add your cartridges to the shopping basket (which is displayed at the top of the right hand side site menu). just choose the quantity of each cartridge that you need using the dropdown box next to each cartridge description then click the 'Add to basket' button underneath. The chosen cartridges will now show in the shopping basket along with your chosen quantities and price. you can alter the quantities of items in your basket or delete items at any time by clicking 'View basket' in the top menu bar then changing the quantities as required (change to 0 to remove an item) then clicking the 'update' button underneath the basket.

Purchasing your cartridges

When you have all the cartridges you need in your basket, click on the 'Checkout' button underneath the basket in the right hand menu bar of the site or click on 'view basket' in the top bar then click on the 'checkout' button underneath the basket.

You will then be taken to our secure checkout (a padlock will show in the browser address bar or at the bottom of your browser to show that the checkout is secure). If you have purchased from us before, just use the email address you entered when you purchased and the password you entered or where given (If you do not know or cannot remember your password, just click on 'Forgotten password' then enter your email address. A new password will immediately be sent to your email address which you can then use).

If you have not purchase from us before, you can either click the 'create account' button which lets you enter your address details and a password for fast checkout in future or else enter your details in the address form underneath.

Once your address is entered or you have created an account, you will be taken to the next stage of the checkout where you can enter an alternative delivery address if required. you can also enter any discount code you may have in the discount coupon box. The default payment method is by credit or debit card. there is also an option to choose to pay by purchase order. this only applies to schools, colleges, government organisations or charities with credit accounts. If your organisation falls under one of these categories, please contact us to set up an account. Then just click 'continue' and you will be taken to the payment page.

On the payment page, the contents of you basket will be displayed again, you can click 'edit' if you wish to add or remove any items at this point or else enter your payment details and click 'continue'. Your payment will then be processed by HSBC and if accepted, you will be sent an email with details of your order. If there are any problems with the payment details you have entered, an error message will be shown and you can try again.

Tracking your order

After you have ordered, you can log in using your email and password then click 'your account' in the top bar and click on 'track your orders' to view details of the orers you have made and the status of each one.

All the prices on our site include VAT and delivery is free on all orders. so the price you see is the price you pay.
